Noble Vine is built in Ohio, on purpose. The midwest teaches a particular kind of patience: you plant in spring, you tend through summer, and you do not dig up the seed every week to check on it.

Being here keeps the work honest. There is no scene to perform for, no borrowed glamour. There is a garment, a standard, and the discipline to meet it. When a piece finally leaves this state, it leaves because it is ready.

The brick and the water towers around us were built by people who expected their work to be standing a century later. That is the bar. Fewer, better garments, released deliberately.
